How to Install Stone Balusters for a Spiral Staircase
1. Substrate preparation & layout lines
2. Install Connecting post and anchors (if embedded)
3. Install stone treads (bottom to top) – reserve holes/sleeves for balusters
4. Install handrail bottom bases (if any)
5. Install all regular balusters (bottom to top)
6.Install newel posts (at start/end/turns)
7.Install handrail (from newel to newel, engaging each baluster)
8.Final adjustment, joint filling, cleaning & sealing
Note: Treads must be completed before baluster installation. Handrail is the last major component.
